I experienced a couple new flowers during my trip (and please let me know if I have misidentified them)...
Nevada goldenrod (Solidago spectabilis)
Oregon checker mallow (Sidalcea oregana)
They make a nice meadow bouquet!
This one I always liked when I was little...
Ranger's buttons (Sphenosciadium capitellatum)
And let's not forget this treasure I stumbled upon in the garden; the good old daisy knows how to compete for attention.

Wonderful photos. You are really nailing this photography thing.
ReplyDeleteLeslie, your work is stunning! I've dropped by many times and have been so thrilled. Your photographs are just beautiful, I've never seen Ranger's Button. Amazing! I so enjoyed visiting. Please forgive my self-centeredness. You've left so many encouraging words on my blog. I need to get out more. Have a great weekend. best, suz
ReplyDeleteWow. Thank you Gary and Suzanne for such high compliments.
ReplyDeleteAnd Suzanne, I do not think you are self-centered! Sometimes we need to turn inward instead of outward for a while. Especially for healing.
Ranger buttons...wow, they are pretty unique.
ReplyDeleteI would love to spend my day here and dive in to all that beauitful flora.
Very lovely images indeed!
