Well, if everyone promises not to laugh... I do not have a fancy camera, although I do feel that it's a very good one for its "class." It's a pocket-sized Canon PowerShot SD870 IS. I used to just share my husband's Nikon CoolPix 5700, but that became frustrating. My parents surprised me with the Canon for Christmas 2007 and I fell in love. I'm just now taking the time to really learn how to use it and am very pleased. Glad to see other positive comments about its abilities too.
