It's a dreary, drippy day here in Southern California,
so how about a bit of color?

This is a glorious lipstick shade of color, is it not??? Beautiful blooms!!! Happy Cactus Monday at 10:15 EST!!! (Late in the day here)!
ReplyDeleteWunderful, I was in Southern California and Arizona little early this year and the weather was to cold. Most cactus did not start to flower but I'll be lucky some day to see triglochidiatus flowering in the desert.

Wishing I was out among this rapturous beauty. Living around it, some years are better than others I remember.
ReplyDeleteSo glad everyone else is enjoying this burst of color too!
ReplyDeleteTorsdag: yes, the blooms on most of the cacti were just starting a couple weeks ago. Hope you get to see them in their full glory some day.
Prairie: the years definitely vary. This seemed to be the year for brittlebush - we had never seen the East Mojave so absolutely covered in its yellow blooms before.
